Mox Bank has launched Travel Pick & Go, a fully customizable travel insurance product available exclusively via the Mox app, offering coverage up to HKD1.2 million for medical expenses and HKD1 million for personal accidents. Customers can choose from three plans—Basic, Value, and Max—and add optional modules for theft, missed events, adventure sports, or food poisoning, starting at just HKD2 per day. The product is underwritten by QBE Hongkong & Shanghai Insurance, combining Mox’s digital platform with QBE’s global claims network. An introductory promotion offers up to 40% off, making it easier for travellers to secure flexible, mobile-first protection. Travel Pick & Go aims to provide personalized, comprehensive coverage that adapts to each customer’s journey.
Travel demand in Indonesia is rising, with domestic trips up nearly 30% in July 2025 compared to 2024, boosting interest in travel insurance. To meet this demand, Great Eastern General Indonesia (GEGI) launched a Travel Insurance product, now available through the OCBC Mobile app, offering flexible coverage for single trips or annual plans. The insurance includes up to 17 benefits, covering medical emergencies, travel delays, baggage issues, visa rejection, and COVID-19-related protections. Premiums start from IDR 54,000 for ASEAN travel and IDR 200,000 for global coverage. GEGI and OCBC aim to provide convenient, secure, and comprehensive travel protection for domestic and international travellers.
