The #MOI Gentlemen Pitching & Award 2026 and Women in Insurance & Banking Award are part of the Magic of Innovation (#MOI) Innovation Day event in Vienna, scheduled for April 2026. The Gentlemen Pitching & Award invites professionals from insurance, banks or brokers to pitch existing innovations (in products, processes, tech, marketing, etc.), with finalists selected in separate insurance and banking categories. The Women in Insurance & Banking Award honours female leaders (who lead at least five people) for outstanding innovation and leadership within their organizations. Both awards offer the chance to present innovations on the #MOI2026 stage, gain exposure, connect with international peers, and compete for trophies and recognition.The application windows run well in advance (e.g. closing February 2026) and include live pitching or presentation components at the event.

Aim of the event

To provide a platform for professionals in insurance, banking and brokering to showcase existing innovations (products, processes, technology etc.), enabling them to “pitch like a startup” even if their organization is more traditional.

To recognize and celebrate leadership, innovation, and excellence—especially among women leaders—by honoring projects and individuals who have made significant contributions in their roles.

To foster networking, visibility and knowledge exchange by bringing together senior industry figures, innovators, and an international audience, thereby inspiring further innovation and collaboration within the sectors.
